Jeremiah Fargo-Moorhead Welcomes New Board & Staff

Jeremiah Program Fargo-Moorhead welcomes Carol Baana to its Community Board of Trustees and Amanda Volmer as the organization’s new Office Administrator.

Baana currently works with Microsoft on improving the operational experience for customers and partners. Previously she was an assistant professor at Minnesota State University–Moorhead (MSUM). She has been a board member of MSUM’s Operations Management Industry Advisory Board since 2009 and was a member of the United Way Women’s Leadership Council for several years.

In her new Office Administrator role, Volmer is responsible for supporting the organization’s operations, board and volunteers, as well as providing assistance for donors and community partners. She first began volunteering with Jeremiah Program in 2011, serving on the marketing and communications committee and assisting with the pilot Life Skills course. She has a degree in Human Development and Family Science and previously worked with families and children as the program director at the Boys and Girls Club of the Red River Valley.
