“Young professionals have a strong desire to make a social change in their communities, and it can often feel overwhelming to know where to start,” said Savana Naini, chair of Propel, Jeremiah Program’s young professional board. “The Summer Social is a fantastic way to learn more about Jeremiah Program, and how your unique strengths can lend to the mission of the organization, while also having the opportunity to expand your professional network.”
This year’s Summer Social, held at Surly Brewing’s private event space, promises to be the biggest and best Propel event to date. With two sponsors, a Jeremiah participant speaker, gift card wall, raffle, free headshots and illustrations by Claire Ward, young professionals in the Twin Cities will have to work to squeeze in time to chat with friends and make new connections.
“By purchasing a ticket, you are breaking the cycle of poverty and supporting the sustainability of Jeremiah Program,” Naini said.
We’d love to see you at Surly on July 8 from 5-7 p.m. for the event. With tickets at just $35, or two for $60, you will be supporting single-mother households in the Twin Cities and making lasting connections with other young leaders. Tickets can be purchased here today.
