Building a Movement of Experience
In 2020, the Jeremiah Program launched an innovative new network—built by Jeremiah Program moms for Jeremiah Program moms—to extend the arch of our proven model of stabilizing families experiencing poverty through housing and education.
Anyone who graduates from our E&L experience is part of our JP alumni network and has access to a growing set of learning and connection experiences. The centerpiece is our annual alumni convening, created by and for JP moms.
We believe that Jeremiah Program alumni are best equipped to support programming that will keep current moms and alum moms centered in the principles of disrupting generational poverty. Working together, we’ll elevate the voices and amplify the power of single moms and children to effect change to the systemic barriers that keep women and children in poverty.
Central to the alumni network is the Jeremiah Program Alumni Fellowship (JPF), a selective, 12-month, cohort-based leadership program. This is a unique opportunity for women to help build and lead a new movement centered on single moms experiencing poverty.
