Rochester Area Foundation awards Jeremiah Better Communities grant

The Rochester Area Foundation has awarded Jeremiah Program $20,000 to support the predevelopment stage for a campus in Rochester-Southeast MN to help low-income single mothers and their children move from poverty to prosperity.

Jeremiah Program is one of 11 organizations to receive funding in the first cycle of 2017 for the Better Communities Grants.

“We are so pleased to support nonprofits who are making significant contributions through their programs in health, human services, education and the arts in the greater Rochester area,” said Jane Angelone, the foundation’s grants officer.
