The Rochester-Southeast MN Jeremiah Program has $1.7 Goal Remaining to Break Ground

The Rochester-Southeast MN Jeremiah Program will provide a safe and comfortable campus environment and affordable housing facility with a licensed, on-site Child Development Center, community meeting and communal gathering space, and 24-hour security monitoring.

The Rochester Campus will be located on Valley High Drive, near Lourdes High School, on land generously donated and appraised at $840,000.

  • 64,836 Square Foot Campus – serving 40 low-income families
  • 2-Floors Upper Level Family Housing – 36 two-bedroom and 4 three-bedroom units
  • Fully Furnished – with beds, dressers, desk, sofa, table, and fully equipped kitchen
  • On-site Early Childhood Education Center – for 64 children
  • Empowerment and Life Skills Training Center
  • Outdoor Play Areas – featuring plenty of safe, sturdy equipment and areas for play
  • Mom’s Career-Track Study Center
  • Library
  • Family Engagement / Living Room
  • Parent Observation Area for Child Development
  • Community Meeting and Communal Gathering Space
  • First Floor Offices – for support staff and management
  • Common Kitchen – fully equipped

When we build a Jeremiah Program, together we can:

  • Break the cycle of intergenerational poverty that costs our communities millions in public assistance
  • Empower and protect single mothers and children who are significantly more vulnerable to harm when living in poverty
  • Provide employers with well-educated, well-trained, capable and qualified women ready to launch careers in their Southeast Minnesota communities
  • Ensure young children can access their full potential by being ready for Kindergarten
  • Reduce health and mental health care costs from the physical and emotional trauma poverty exacts
