Chavon Mitchell
Chief External Affairs Officer
Chavon Mitchell serves as Jeremiah Program’s Chief External Affairs Officer (CXO). She is a passionate fundraiser and storyteller who brings more than 20 years of nonprofit fundraising and communications experience, with roles in arts and culture, education, and criminal justice journalism. Chavon graduated cum laude from Xavier University with a degree in communication arts, a concentration in public relations, and a minor in Spanish.
She has served on the boards of UNC Charlotte’s Women + Girls Research Alliance, the Charlotte Chamber Young Professionals, and in leadership at Newell Presbyterian Church. She is excited to move JP’s mission forward.
