our philosophy

JP Child Development Centers

Jeremiah Programโ€™s Child Development Centers (CDCs) focus on nurturing each child โ€” supporting social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth during the most critical years of development. By meeting children where they are, our licensed and quality-rated centers provide responsive, developmentally appropriate learning environments that foster curiosity, confidence, and healthy relationships from six weeks through the first day of kindergarten.

Rooted in partnership with families, our approach emphasizes trust, respect, and collaboration, creating a strong and supportive bridge between home and school.

All Jeremiah Program CDCs use The Creative Curriculum, a nationally recognized, research-based framework. Children learn through play, daily routines, and exploration while building skills in language and early literacy, math and problem solving, social-emotional development, and self-regulation and independence.

Teachers observe, guide, and individualize learning experiences to support each childโ€™s unique strengths and growth, laying a strong foundation so transitions โ€” into new classrooms and eventually kindergarten โ€” are seamless and affirming. We use the GOLD Assessment to monitor progress and ensure each child receives developmentally appropriate, individualized support.

We honor the diversity of our communitiesโ€™ families and cultures. Our teachers use a multicultural, inclusive approach so every child feels valued, confident, and supported.

Frequently Asked Questions

Are the JP CDCs available only for JP participant children, or can others in the community also use the centers?

JP welcomes children of both JP participants, as well as non-JP families who are simply seeking a high quality center. We are committed to serving the larger community and providing quality learning experiences to as many children as possible. *Please note that if space is limited in a center, priority will go to JP participant children.

How much do families need to pay for tuition and fees at the JP CDCs?

Tuition is based on a childโ€™s age and scheduled attendance. In an attempt to minimize costs for families, the weekly tuition covers all fees.

We work with families to identify financial support options, including Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) and early learning scholarships. For specific tuition pricing information, please contact the center in your area.

What qualifications and training do JP CDC teachers have?

Our teachers are highly qualified early childhood professionals with degrees or equivalent experience in early childhood education and child development. Staff participate in ongoing professional development to stay current in best practices for early learning, health, and safety.

What do the CDCs provide?

The center provides diapers, wipes, sunscreen, formula, meals, and snacks for all children.

Children receive nutritious meals and snacks daily, including breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack. Infants are supported with iron-fortified formula and age-appropriate foods.

We work closely with families to accommodate food allergies and medically documented special dietary needs.

How do the CDCs communicate with families?

We partner closely with parents and caregivers through Teaching Strategies/Tadpoles, our secure communication app. Families receive daily reports (infants and toddlers), including updates on meals, naps, and activities, as well as photos, videos, and messages from teachers.

Parents can also send messages through the app and are welcome to come by the center during the day. We maintain an open-door policy for families.
