Tiana Stowers Pearson

Tiana Stowers Pearson is the Executive Director of Jeremiah Program’s Brooklyn campus. She has a deep passion for empowering women, children, and marginalized communities and has dedicated her career to dismantling systemic barriers and creating opportunities for those often overlooked. Her expertise in criminal justice, substance abuse, mental health, and domestic violence has been instrumental in developing and implementing innovative programs that address complex social issues. As the new executive director of Jeremiah Program Brooklyn, she brings a wealth of experience and a steadfast commitment to the organization’s mission.
Previously, Tiana’s leadership at the Richmond County District Attorney’s Office spearheaded diversion programs that empowered hundreds of individuals to break free from the criminal justice system and rebuild their lives. Her work at Community Health Action of Staten Island expanded access to trauma-informed care, fostering resilience and hope among survivors.
Tiana excels at building strong partnerships and cultivating collaborative relationships across diverse sectors. Her ability to bring people together has been essential to driving systemic change. Tiana holds a B.A. in Political Science from Washington State University and a J.D. from the University of Idaho Law School, where she was awarded a prestigious fellowship with Harvard Legal Aid. With a doctorate in education on the horizon focused on community leadership, Tiana is poised to continue making a profound impact on the lives of those she serves.
