Minneapolis, Minn. (October 9, 2025)—Jeremiah Program (JP), a national nonprofit organization dedicated to disrupting the cycle of poverty for single mothers and their children two generations at a time, is proud to announce the appointment of Amanda Luedtke as the new Executive Director of its Minneapolis campus. Luedtke brings nearly 25 years of leadership experience in the Twin Cities human services sector, with a career spanning children and youth homelessness, mental health and wellness, early childhood education, and adult learning.
“Amanda’s deep expertise in human services, her proven ability to lead teams and programs, and her unwavering commitment to empowering all moms to dream for themselves, their families, and their communities, make her the ideal leader for JP Minneapolis,” Chastity Lord, President & CEO, Jeremiah Program. “Her vision and experience will strengthen our work of empowering single mothers and their children to achieve economic mobility.”
Most recently, Luedtke served as Senior Division Director of Children and Family Services at Catholic Charities of St. Paul and Minneapolis, where she provided operational oversight for eight programs, supervised more than 120 employees, and managed a $9 million annual budget serving over 14,000 clients each year. Prior to her role at Catholic Charities, Luedtke spent more than six years with Lutheran Social Services of Minnesota, serving as Statewide Director of Coordination and Training in Behavioral Health and later as Regional Operations Director. She has also held senior leadership positions with Volunteers of America-MN and contributed to higher education as an adjunct instructor at Adler Graduate School.
With undergraduate degrees in psychology and criminology and a master’s in clinical mental health, Luedtke is a licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC) and BBHT-approved clinical supervisor. She is also trained in trauma-informed care, motivational interviewing, and evidence-based practices, and has been recognized with multiple awards for leadership and social justice.
“With Minneapolis as the headquarters of this national organization, this role feels even more rewarding to me as Jeremiah Program’s mission deeply resonates with my personal and professional values. I am honored to join an organization that deeply connects with single moms identified needs and supports them in a powerful way. I look forward to building on JP Minneapolis’ strong foundation and collaborating with community partners to help families succeed,” said Luedtke.
Jeremiah Program’s Minneapolis campus is one of nine nationwide, offering a proven model that combines affordable housing, career-track education, quality early childhood education, and empowerment and life skills training for single mothers and their children.
