Gloria Gonzales-Dholakia, Ph.D., is Jeremiah Program’s VP of Alumni & Public Policy, after serving for two years as the Executive Director of JP’s Austin campus. With 20 years in nonprofit, civic engagement, social justice, and education sectors, Gloria also brings her own lived experience to Jeremiah Program. She is dedicated to serving the community, disrupting cycles of poverty, and building partnerships across sectors that focus on representation and inclusion for those historically marginalized. Gloria has spent her professional career building authentic relationships in the Austin region and is known as a highly networked, well-respected leader, strategic thinker, bold communicator, and exceptional listener. A first-generation college graduate, Gloria completed her doctorate in education from the University of Texas at Austin, has been a faculty member at St. Edward’s University, and has held leadership roles at the Leander Independent School District, the Hanger Foundation, and most recently at Jolt Action.
