Heather Asp
Senior Director of Talent Management
Heather Asp is the Director of Talent Management for Jeremiah Program. She loves helping people and teams to do their best work. She has found her truest north is bringing the people pieces of an organization into alignment through strong systems and authentic support that results in a psychologically safe place for staff of diverse backgrounds to feel supported, developed, and energized. For the last several years, she has partnered with senior leadership to bring the best talent to the organization and to cultivate inclusive teams. She has a passion for connecting with and developing people to build strong organizational cultures that center people first.
Heather started her career in education as an elementary teacher in Fort Worth, TX, and moved to developing teachers and administrators as a program manager and coach at Dallas Independent School District. These experiences led her to the talent management side, where she built, coached, and led high-performing teams and scaled systems and initiatives that have increased organizational impact across talent acquisition, talent development, and talent management spaces. Most recently, Heather served as National Director of Staffing at IDEA Public Schools, leading an executive search team and staff development work across the organization. Heather earned her master’s degree in educational leadership from Tarleton State University.
