Jennifer is a 17-year HR professional who is passionate about all aspects of the HR lifecycle and excited to apply her expertise to the overall success of Jeremiah Program. With experience in all the HR fields, Jennifer excels in authentic relationship building that results in employees showing up as their best selves in their work. She prides herself as a committed, mission-driven leader with a passion for strategic HR planning.
With a career that began in the corporate sector, Jennifer learned she prefers an authentic nonprofit environment where she can work to support missions that advocate for disadvantaged, marginalized, and vulnerable communities. Prior to joining Jeremiah Program, she worked as an HR leader for a social services agency that supported individuals with developmental disabilities and most recently spent three years as a senior HR consultant with Nonprofit HR, serving organizations in the child and family advocacy space.
Jennifer’s formal education includes bachelor’s degrees in communication and history from the University of Lynchburg, along with certifications as a Professional of Human Resources (PHR) and SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Jennifer holds true to the belief that an organization’s culture is critical to driving its mission. Born and raised in Houston, TX, Jennifer now resides on the Oregon Coast, where she enjoys volunteering with the Boys and Girls Club, hiking, fishing, hunting, camping, and being crowned the winner on game nights with friends.
